Youth t-ball and softball registration
Bowling Green Parks and Recreation’s youth t-ball and softball leagues are now open for registration.
The youth t-ball league is for ages 5-6. The youth softball leagues are separated in 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12
year old age divisions.
All practices and games will be held at the Eli Joyce Ball Diamond in City Park. All leagues are for boys
and girls. Youth softball leagues will consist of machine pitch style games.
Leagues begin with practices the week of May 13 and games begin the week of June 3.
Costs are $53 for residents and $62 for non-residents. Cost includes a shirt and hat.

BGPR to host Start Smart t-ball program
Bowling Green Parks and Recreation will be hosting Start Smart t-ball at City Park on Thursdays from
5:15-6 p.m.
The program runs May 2 to June 6. Start Smart is an introductory program for children ages 3-5 that
prepares them for organized t-ball/baseball in a fun, non-threatening environment.
The program will be held at Eli Joyce Ball Diamond in City Park. In case of inclement weather, the
program will be held indoors at The Bowling Green Community Center at 1245 W. Newton Road.
Parents and children work one-on-one during this six week class. A facilitator will be on hand.
Costs are $53 for residents and $62 for non-residents. Children will receive a Start Smart t-ball shirt.
