PERRYSBURG — Perrysburg scored in every inning on Thursday in stinging Oregon Clay 11-1 across six
innings via the mercy rule in nonleague action.
Kate Dheel spearheaded the Yellow Jackets (6-3) by driving in a game-high three runs.
Mars Deemer — who struck out six in the complete game win — supported Dheel at the plate with a game-high
three hits for Perrysburg, while Kylie Griggs and Halie Monhollen both had two hits.

Lake 16, Port Clinton 3
PORT CLINTON — Harry Jackson racked up four of Lake’s 10 hits and helped lead Flyers over Port Clinton
16-3 in a five-inning mercy rule win on Thursday.
Jackson, out of the leadoff spot, singled twice and finished just a home run shy of the cycle. He drove
in a game-high three run for Lake (9-0) — which scored 11 runs in the second inning.
Austin Fouty was the only other Flyer with multiple hits — singling and doubling — and matched Scott
Mackiewicz and Jackson’s three RBIs. Luke Walsh did not have a hit, but drove in two runs.

BOYS TENNIS
Maumee 5, Bowling Green 0
MAUMEE — Bowling Green scored in each match on Thursday, but the Bobcats were swept 5-0 by Maumee.
Dom Meszaros dropped his No. 1 singles match 6-3, 6-0. Evan Jiang and Noah Horn both nabbed a win in one
set, but both fell 6-0, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-0 in No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively.
Hayden McCracken and Jack Devine lost in No. 1 doubles 6-0, 6-1, while Ty Gulgin and Aaron Lamb were
topped 6-2, 6-0 in No. 2 doubles.
