Faith in art

Bowling Green Middle School students Selena Stull and Eli Pearce work on their art project for the annual
Interfaith Breakfast. Advanced art students are making peace sculptures using languages around the world
to show diversity. The artwork will be on display at the Interfaith Breakfast on Tuesday at the Wood
County Fairgrounds. The eighth-graders constructed the letters out of cardboard; each piece is 17 inches
tall. The letters are then stacked on top of each other in a vertical manner. Students cover the letters
in music sheets and glue them together, and some of the languages are Korean, Russian, Spanish and
Croatian. The sculptures also will be on display at Art Walk on April 27.
