Bryce Hoehner spearheaded Bowling Green on the mound and at the plate in leading the Bobcats past Findlay
9-7 on Tuesday.
Hoehner, who struck out five in three innings, also drove in a pair of runs for BG (2-0). Kyle Jackson
tallied two of BG’s five hits.
Findlay outhit BG 6-5, but committed eight errors.

HOLLAND — Otsego’s offense found its rhythm Tuesday night as the Knights toppled Springfield 15-3.
Corey Hollar led Otsego with a pair of hits, an RBI and scored three runs. Levi Gonyer earned the win.

Springfield scored three runs on five hits, but was plagued by four errors. Otsego did not commit an
error.

PEMBERVILLE — Eastwood pushed six runs across in the first two innings and held on for a 9-1 win over
Northwood on Tuesday.
The Eagles, who improved to 1-0, were led by Gavin Slattman’s two hits and three RBIs. Noah Hahn earned
the win.

CLYDE — Lake got rolling early and trounced Clyde 9-0 in Tuesday’s nonleague action.
Harry Jackson singled twice, doubled and drove in a pair of runs out of the leadoff spot to lead the
Flyers, who scored at least two runs in each of the first three innings.
Bronson Medley (2-1B) and Brendan Zink each tallied two RBIs. Austin Fouty and Tyler Saffran had a pair
of singles apiece.

COCOA BEACH, Fl. — Luke Borer was as hot as the Florida weather on Tuesday, falling a home run shy of the
cycle in leading Perrysburg over Bloomington (Ill.) 9-3.
Borer singled twice, doubled, tripled and knocked in a game-high five runs to lead the Yellow Jackets.
Nate Ball and Brock Frydenlund both singled twice. Haydn Smith tossed 3 2/3 scoreless innings of relief,
striking out four to earn the win for Perrysburg.

TONTOGANY — The top three batters in Otsego’s lineup combined for six hits and four RBIs in leading the
Knights over Bowling Green 6-4 on Tuesday.
Eve Serrato led with a single, double and a pair of RBIs, while Shelbey Spurlock — who nabbed the win —
and Summer Berry both had two singles and an RBI for Otsego (1-0).
Michaela Boston doubled and drove in a pair of runs to lead the Bobcats (0-1).
