Bowling Green opened with a three-run first inning and held off Clyde the rest of the way in nabbing a
5-0 shutout win in the season opener on Saturday.
Isaac Elsasser and Bryce Hoehner tallied two hits apiece to pace the Bobcats (1-0).
Tucker Craft struck out six across six innings to earn the win. Andrew Robinette drove in a pair of runs.

TOLEDO — Andrew McManus fanned 15 in a complete-game effort in leading Rossford to a 9-1 win over Toledo
Waite in Saturday’s season opener.
McManus allowed just two hits for the Bulldogs (1-0). Cam Reynolds singled, doubled and scored twice for
Rossford.
