To the Editor:
I woke up this morning full of anxiety and dread. After listening to the news, I crawled back to bed.
Scandals, deception and mockery have become our new normal. Common sense is a distant memory.
We have become a society confused and troubled by the madness confronting us daily. Our confidence has
been shattered by the harmful and dangerous jargon traumatizing our society. Fear has become our
constant companion. There are faces frozen with anger and frustration.
My faith in humanity gives me hope that this too shall pass. I believe love, compassion and forgiveness
will be the glue that binds us together and the strength to survive.
