Accidents occurred Feb. 11:
Larry Miller, BG, was northbound on South Wintergarden Road when he drove off the right side of the road
at the Pearl Street intersection and struck a stop sign. He was cited for failure to maintain reasonable
control.
Rita Kohler, Gibsonburg, was eastbound on West Poe Road at Haskins Road with a green light. Catherine
Mantel, Portage, was southbound on Haskins with a red light. Mantel failed to stop and was struck by
Kohler. Mantel was cited for signal lights/red light violation.
Carolyn Layne, BG, was parked in the 800 block of Champagne Avenue when her vehicle was struck the
driver’s side. The unknown vehicle left the scene.
Citations Feb. 12:
Brian Cameron, 35, BG, was arrested on a warrant for felony grand theft of a motor vehicle and was taken
to jail.

Police responded to a suicidal male in the 11100 block of East Gypsy Lane Road; took a report of money
stolen from a checking account; and responded to an unresponsive male in the bathroom at 2111 E. Wooster

Accidents occurred Feb. 14:
Stephanie Dalmacio, BG, was stopped in the right lane, waiting to parallel park in the 100 block of South
Main Street. Xavier Hackler, BG, attempted to change lanes to go around Dalmacio, but did not have
enough space due to traffic in the left lane. Hackler struck Dalmacio and was cited for marked lanes.

Christina Moore, Maumee, was stopped southbound on North Main Street at Parkview Drive. Timothy Emery,
BG, said he was distracted by an item that fell on the floor of his vehicle, and he struck Moore. Emery
was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

Police responded the 300 block of Ridge Street for a suicidal female.
Theft from a vehicle was reported in the 300 block of Ridge Street.
Citations Feb. 17:
Anthony Hall Jr. and Emilio Gonzalez were approached while sitting in a vehicle in city Lot 2. Hall, 18,
was cited for underage possession of alcohol, possession of marijuana and possession of drug
paraphernalia. Gonzalez, 19, was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kelly Iler, 38, BG, was arrested on a warrant for felony theft after taking a wallet and vehicle without
consent.

Police responded to the 1500 block of Clough Street for an unresponsive child.
Mariah Sievert, 26, Perrysburg, was stopped in the 1600 block of East Wooster Street and was arrested on
a felony warrant out of Toledo and obstructing official business.
Jessica Whitley, 32, Toledo, was arrested for possession of heroin, possession of a schedule IV drug,
possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of drug abuse instruments.
Accidents occurred Feb. 17:
Andrei Iacob, Westland, Michigan, was northbound in the 900 block of South Main Street. John King,
Rudolph, was stopped in the middle lane northbound, waiting to turn left. Iacob said he pulled into the
center lane and slid on snow and struck King. Iacob was cited for failure to maintain assured clear
distance ahead.
Moira Sams, BG, was southbound on South Main Street and attempted to turn right onto West Washington
Street. She slid across the roadway and struck a utility pole and then Stephen Albanese, BG, who was
eastbound on Washington. Sams was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control.
Christopher Stone, Toledo, was stopped at the light on westbound Clough Street at South Main Street and
was struck from behind by Nikolas Skoufos, Port Clinton, who said he slid on ice. Skoufos was cited for
failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

A counterfeit $100 bill was accepted at a drive-thru in the 1400 block of East Wooster Street on Feb. 15.

Accidents occurred Feb. 18:
Nicole Rud, Toledo, was westbound on West Wooster Street when she lost control, crossing a sidewalk in a
side yard before crossing back into the roadway. She again left the right side of the road and crashed
into a retaining wall in the 800 block. She was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control.
Astrid Umanzor, Parma, was attempting to exit a parking lot in the 1600 block of East Wooster Street to
proceed westbound. The windows were covered with glazed ice, making visibility difficult. Umanzor drove
out in front of and struck Robert Fyfe, Portage, who was eastbound on East Wooster. Umanzor was cited
failure to maintain right of way.
Kathryn Parson, Holland; Ryan Smith, BG, and Stephanie Hersch, Perrysburg, were eastbound in the 1600
block of East Wooster Street, stopped in traffic. Brooke Logan, BG, failed to stop in time and struck
Hersch, pushing her into Smith, who then struck Parson. Logan was cited for failure to maintain assured
clear distance ahead.
A vehicle owned by Ean Holdings LLC, Lombard, Michigan, was parked in the 300 block of North Main Street
when it was struck by an unknown driver, knocking off the driver’s side mirror.

A woman was taken to the hospital from the 600 block of Second Street for suicidal thoughts. The same
woman was taken back to the hospital Feb. 20 for wanting to harm herself.
Accidents occurred Feb. 19:
Jacob Wise, Bradner, was southbound on South Church Street approaching West Washington Street. Shirley
Snyder, BG, was eastbound on Washington and continued to drive into the intersection. Wise struck
Snyder, who was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
Evelyn Loyola, BG, was eastbound on East Wooster Street at Biddle Street, being followed by Emily Baer,
Perrysburg. Loyola quickly stopped and was struck by Baer, who was cited for failure to maintain assured
clear distance ahead.
Accident occurred Feb. 20:
Cheryl Debock, Jerry City, was southbound in the curb lane on South Main Street approaching West Napoleon
Road. Alixandrea Jaso, BG, was northbound on Main, waiting to turn left onto Napoleon. Jaso turned left
in front of Debock and was struck. Jaso was cited for right of way during a left turn.
