BG woman appointed partner at RCO Law

TOLEDO — Sarah J. Corney has been promoted to partner with RCO Law, effective Jan. 1.
Corney joined RCO Law in 2010 as an associate attorney, after spending the summer of 2009 with the firm
as a law school summer associate.
Corney is licensed in Ohio and Florida, and practices in the areas of estate planning, probate and small
business transactions.
She and husband, Chris, live in Bowling Green.
She serves clients throughout Northwest Ohio, meeting with clients in RCO offices in Findlay, Waterville
and Toledo.
A native of Bucyrus, Corney earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree, magna cum laude, from the
University of Toledo College of Law in 2010. She earned a bachelor of arts degree with distinction from
the College of Wooster in 2006.
Corney is the immediate past president of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and is a
founding member and serves on the board of directors of Project 419: Wealth Preservation Conference. She
regularly presents on estate planning topics, including charitable planning and special needs trusts.

She is a volunteer court-appointed guardian for the Hancock County Probate Court.
Corney is a member of the Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce and its Women’s Mentorship
Committee.
