Soup and salad luncheon set
The congregation of Hope Lutheran Church, 13507 Cloverdale Road, will host a soup and salad luncheon in
the fellowship hall Sunday from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m.
Donations will benefit Sarah Headley family with medical expenses.
The menu includes vegetable and chicken noodle soups, sloppy Joes and hot dogs, along with a variety of
salads and desserts.
Community Lenten Lunch Wednesday
NORTH BALTIMORE — Praise Chapel Pentecostal Church will lead the Community Lenten Lunch at Good Shepherd,
119 W. Broadway St. on Wednesday.
There will be a spiritual devotion before lunch. There is no cost for the meal. Participants are asked to
give an offering for the ministries of North Baltimore Area Cooperative Ministry including its food
pantry.
Lenten Bible study starts
The weekly Bible study at Trinity United Methodist Church, 200 N. Summit St., will meet during Lent.
With the book of Ecclesiastes as the guide, the group will explore why “Life with God Matters.” They will
begin meeting for this study on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the church.
Gala set for church’s new wing
WESTON — Sonlight Church will be holding a gala to raise funds for its new Children’s Ministry wing. The
plan is to built it debt free.
The fundraiser will be at Nazareth Hall in Grand Rapids on March 22 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. and will feature
a meal, live music and silent auction. Tickets are $32 each or fill a table of eight. There is room for
230 people.
