Accidents occurred Feb. 6:
Dakota Maher, Haskins, was westbound on Industrial Parkway when Christina Tucker, BG, exited a private
drive and struck her. Tucker was cited for failure to yield right of way.
Candis Vargas, BG, was northbound on North Main Street. William Fleming, BG, had parked in the Dollar
Tree lot when he backed out of the lot and struck Vargas. He was cited for unsafe vehicle.

Accidents occurred Feb. 7:
Kasey Duncan, Norwalk parked in the 200 block of North Main Street when Delfino Garcia, BG, traveling
southbound, struck the vehicle’s mirror.
Nemecio Lopez, BG, was eastbound on Clough Street, approaching the stop sign at Crim Street. Elizabeth
Jackson, BG, was southbound on Crim and stopped at Clough. Jackson continued into the intersection and
was struck by Lopez, who then fled. Jackson identified Lopez through a BMV photo. Lopez was cited for
failure to yield right of way.

Kristopher Kelley, Haskins, was eastbound on Pearl Street, stopped at South Main Street, when he was
struck from behind by Nicholas Wichman, Elmore, who was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
Monique Velazquez, Defiance, was attempting to exit a private drive in the 1500 block of East Wooster
Street when she struck Anna Osentoski, Toledo, who was eastbound on Wooster. Velazquez was cited for
failure to yield right of way.
Steven Deamon, Twinsburg, was parked in a lot in the 300 block of Campbell Hill Road when his vehicle was
struck by another driver, who left the scene.

Destiney Gay, 19, was cited for underage/under the influence Feb. 9 after she was found passed out in a
running vehicle in city Lot 2. She was taken to the hospital.
Police responded to the 300 block of Ridge Street and the 900 block of Klotz Road for suicidal persons.

A counterfeit $50 bill was reported in a restaurant in the 1500 block of East Wooster Street.
Accidents occurred Feb. 9:
Allen Creed, Delphos, was westbound on East Wooster Street at Main Street, following another vehicle,
which was making a right turn. An unknown vehicle backed up and struck Creed, then left the scene.
Craig Fite, BG, was parked in the 1400 block of Wren Road when an unknown driver struck his vehicle and
left the scene.
Ciara Clark, Perrysburg, was following Shelly Grasser, Mentor, westbound on East Wooster Street near
Williams Street, when she struck Grasser. She was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
Kate Henderson, Wapakoneta, and Nathan Schwieterrman, Minster, were walking westbound within the
crosswalk on North Mercer Road at East Wooster Street when they were struck by Kirsten Kunkel,
Perrysburg, who was northbound on Mercer. Kunkel was cited for failure to yield right of way. Both
pedestrians had minor injuries.
Noah Dixie, Batavia, was southbound on South Main Street approaching Pearl Street when he struck Bryan
Hall, Toledo, who was slowing in the right lane. Dixie was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
Steven Pickering, La Center, Washington, was backing out of a driveway in the 1400 block of Westminster
Road when he drove into the grass and struck a light pole. He was cited for improper starting/backing.

Accidents occurred Feb. 10:
Daniel Limon, BG, was traveling northbound in the 100 block of South Maple and swerve to miss a squirrel
in the roadway. He ran off the roadway and struck a utility pole. He was cited for failure to maintain
reasonable control, OVI, PAC (BAC 0.162), and driving under suspension.
