Police took a report of a man pointing a gun from a black Chevy truck in City Lot 1; of a dog bite at the
hospital, and to the 200 block of South Prospect for an attempted suicide.
James Wiltsie III, 35, Delphos, was arrested in the 200 block of East Wooster Street for disorderly
conduct/intoxicated unable to care for self.

Accident occurred Jan. 7:
Megan Rodgers, Delaware, was eastbound in the left turn lane on East Wooster Street at Prospect Street
and entered the intersection. Franklin Woodard, Bryan, was westbound on Wooster and failed to stay in
his lane and struck Rodgers. Woodard was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control.

Police took possession of an unknown white substance at a business on Woodbridge Boulevard.
John Fitzgerald, 42, BG, was arrested for criminal damaging in the 800 block of North College Drive and
was taken to jail.
Charges were filed against Rylee Jahns, 32, BG, for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He appeared with
an attorney Jan. 18.
Police responded to the 1000 block of Klotz Road for a suicide.
Accident occurred Jan. 8:
Thomas German, BG, was turning right on a green light from West Wooster Street onto South Church Street.
Thomas Barson, BG, was walking in the crosswalk. German did not see Barson due to dark conditions and
dark clothing. Barson was struck by the passenger side of the truck but refused medical treatment.
German was cited for right of way of a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

Police responded to the 400 block of South Enterprise Street for a package stolen from a front porch.
Accidents occurred Jan. 9:
Jamie Cook, Custar, was stopped for traffic on westbound East Poe Road at North College Drive when he was
struck from behind by Russell Degroff, BG, who was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
Kevin Brock, Toledo, was northbound on South Main Street at East Wooster Street in the right turn only
lane. An OMI Transportation truck, Toledo, was northbound in the same area in the thru lane. Sarah
Morel, Perrysburg, was parked in the 100 block of North Main Street. Mikala Blakesmith, BG, was parked
in the 200 block of North Main. Brock continued north and struck the truck; the two became lodged
together and struck Morel then continued northbound and struck Blakesmith. Brock was cited for marked
lanes.

Cory Johnson, 49, BG, was arrested for OVI/refusal and was released to a family member.
Accidents occurred Jan. 10:
Abraham Brockway, Rudolph, was northbound on Fairview Avenue, attempting a left turn onto Poe Road.
Rachel Barnett, BG, was southbound on Fairview Avenue. Both had a green light. Brockway turned in front
of Barnett and struck Barnett. Brockway was cited for right of way.
James Ledbetter, Perrysburg, was parked in the 200 block of Lehman Avenue when the vehicle was struck
overnight.
