Kalmbach Fields VP talks at ag breakfast

The vice president of one of the leading livestock feed companies in Ohio will discuss the future of the
industry including recent changes, regulations and growth trends at the Northwest Ohio Ag-Business
Breakfast Forum, Feb. 21 from 8-9:30 a.m. The event is hosted by the Center for Innovative Food
Technology at the Agricultural Incubator Foundation.
Andy Bishop, vice president of operations for Kalmbach Feeds, will share current trends and developments
in the Ohio feed industry. He will be addressing issues in nutrition, food safety, including the Food
Safety Modernization Act as it relates to feed, animal production, and the economics of feed production.

With more than 55 years in the industry, Kalmbach Feeds is known as a leader in animal nutrition through
ingredient testing, computer controlled systems and patented technologies. Their four locations across
Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Pennsylvania includes manufacturing facilities and research farms.
Breakfast and informal networking will start at 8 a.m., with the program to follow. The cost is $10 per
person in advance, or $12 per person at the door without RSVP (cash or check).
The Northwest Ohio Ag-Business Breakfast Forum is an educational networking opportunity to provide
information on current issues, trends and programs available to the agricultural community and those who
support its advancement.
