Police responded to Ridge Street Park for a report of criminal damaging; and to the 200 block of Napoleon
Road for an animal bite.
Accidents occurred Dec. 22:
Logan Snyder, Waterville, was eastbound in the inside lane of the 1700 block of East Wooster Street. Beth
Plata, BG, turned left onto Wooster from Shannon Drive and struck Snyder. Plata was cited for failure to
yield right of way.

Roxanne Solis, 30, Defiance, was arrested for trafficking in cocaine to a bar in the 100 block of North
Main Street and was taken to jail. Issa Wiggins, 29, Defiance, was arrested for forgery and on a warrant
through Defiance County Sheriff’s Office. She was taken to jail to await extradition.
A theft of a $150 watch was reported from a vehicle in the 300 block of North Prospect.

Police responded to a disturbance at 1111 S. Main St. and arrested Scott Hughes, 35, homeless, on active
warrants from Findlay Police Department and the Wood County Sheriff’s Office. He also was arrested for
falsification and was taken to jail.

Police responded to a damaged vehicle in the 700 block of Ninth Street; and to open mailboxes in the 300
block of Campbell Hill Road.
Accidents occurred Dec. 26:
A city-owned street sweeper operated by Michael Brim, BG, was westbound on East Wooster Street at
Williams Street when he backed into Raymond Braun, Holland. Brim was cited for improper backing.
Linda Wolfe, BG, was westbound on Georgia Avenue and Johnetta Johnson, BG was southbound on South
Prospect Street. Wolfe failed to yield at the stop sign and struck Johnson. Wolfe was cited for failure
to yield the right of way.

Dec. 28:
Police responded to the 100 block of Liberty Street for a home that had been entered overnight, and to
the 200 block of Varsity South for a suspicious package.
Bryce Ketner, 19, BG, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Xavier Clegg, 19, Rudolph, was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia
and underage possession of alcohol. Both were released from the scene, in the 1100 block of Cambridge
Boulevard.

Police responded to the 1400 block of East Wooster Street for an overnight burglary; and to the 100 block
of Clough Street for a juvenile student being bullied.
Eric Wilson, 26, BG, was was arrested for falsification and was taken to jail on a Wood County warrant.

Accidents occurred Dec. 29:
Kimberly Morris, Custar, was stopped southbound in the 1000 block of North Main Street when she was
struck from behind by Tynan Hubbell-Staeble, BG, who was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

Amber Teall, 25, BG, was charged with traffic control device, OVI, PAC (BAC 0.168) and was released.
Police responded to City Lot 2 for a damaged parking meter kiosk.
Dennis Pardon, 60, BG, was arrested for OVI, PAC (BAC 0.304) and lanes of travel and was taken to jail.

Accidents occurred Dec. 31:
Annette Martens, BG, was southbound in the 1000 block of South Main Street and David L. Smith, Jerry
City, was northbound in the same block and turning left into a driveway. Smith was struck by Martens and
was cited for right of way/left turn.
Mary Short, BG, was parked in front of Howard’s on North Main Street when an unknown vehicle passed and
struck the driver’s side mirror.
Jeffrey Burmester, Westerville, and Michael Posh, Toledo, were southbound on I-75 at the 182 mile marker
in the right lane. Burmester started to change to the middle lane to pass a car and Posh sped up.
Burmester returned to the left lane. The passenger front tire of Posh struck the driver’s rear tire on
Burmester’s vehicle.
Hannah Clinton, Mentor, was westbound on East Wooster Street slowing to turn left into a drive. Branden
Jacobs, BG, was following, looked down to change the radio station, and struck Clinton. Jacobs was cited
for assured clear distance ahead.
