Four Bobcats earn American degree

The Bowling Green FFA American FFA Degree recipients for 2018 were Nolan Brennan, Manny Carrillo, Alexis
Fiebelkorn and Noah Nietz. The American FFA Degree is the highest degree a FFA member can achieve and
over 4,200 American FFA Degrees were handed out this year at the National FFA Convention. That number
represents less than half of 1 percent of all FFA members, making it one of the organization’s highest
honors.
Brennan is the son of Sean and Denise Brennan. His SAE included job placement at D&D Landscaping
and Jim Palmer Excavating. He served as chapter president and vice president. He is a sophomore at Iowa
State University, majoring in agricultural systems and technology.
Carillo is the son of Manuel and Melissa Carrillo. His SAE included job placement at All Seasons
Landscaping. He served as chapter sentinel. He is at Ohio State ATI, majoring in environmental science
natural resource management.
Fiebelkorn is the daughter of Doug and Susan Fiebelkorn. Her SAE included crop production. She is
attending University of Northwestern Ohio, majoring in agribusiness marketing/management technology.
Nietz is the son of John and Betsy Nietz. His SAE included crop production. He is a sophomore at the
University of Dayton, majoring in criminal justice and sociology.
