Ellen “E.J.” Sharp, age 75, of Perrysburg, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Hospice of
Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.
She was born on September 29, 1941 in Toledo to Martin and Marie (Hazel) Haas Jr.
She retired from Pro-Pak Industries as a sales service manager after 23 years of service.
Her memberships included: St. John’s Lutheran Church, Stony Ridge and Rossford Eagles #2322. In her spare
time she was a NASCAR fan with Rusty Wallace, #2, being her favorite driver. She was thrilled when she
was able to drive on the Charlotte Race Track.
E.J. is survived by her sons: Martin (Rachael) Sharp of Mt. Desert, ME and Michael (Andrea) Sharp of
Bellevue, NE; grandchildren: Garry, Joshua, Nicole, Catherine and Mary Ellen; great-granddaughter:
Brylee; brothers: Jim (Noladean) Haas of Luckey, Gene (Ruth) Haas of Genoa and Gary (Debbie) Haas of
Perrysburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Glen Haas and nephew Jeff Haas.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 3-8 p.m at the Marsh Funeral Home,
110 Main St., Luckey, where funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 11 a.m.
Services will be officiated will Rev. James Budke.
Interment will be at a later date in Troy Twp. Cemetery, Luckey.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
