PERRYSBURG — The Perrysburg Commons Retirement Center hosted its sixth annual spring formal on Wednesday.
The evening started with a candlelight dinner before the North Coast Big Band took the stage to perform
all the favorites of the big band era.  
The Commons’ dining room was transformed into a ballroom, as the evening’s theme was “A Night in Paris.”

A king and queen were crowned to reign over the evening. Voting took place by residents, families and
staff two weeks prior to the event. This year’s king and queen were Patsy Krause and Bud Gladieux. The
king was under the weather so his son, Bill Gladieux, stood in for his father.
