BOWLING GREEN
Pastor Paul Lange’s sermon Easter Sunday at Abiding Word Evangelical Lutheran Church will be, “Repent:
Turn to Jesus for Resurrection and Life.”
There will be a worship at 10:30 a.m. Easter Sunday at Bowling Green Alliance Church.
Tom McCurdy’s sermon at 10 a.m. Sunday at Bowling Green Church of Christ will be “The Footsteps of
Jesus.” The 12:30 p.m. service will be “Christ Is the Answer.”
Easter Sunday at Brookside Church, will feature its Easter service at 10 .m. in Olscamp Hall. An Easter
egg hunt will follow at 11:15 a.m.
Easter Sunday at Christ’s Church in Bowling Green will begin with its “Son”rise service at 8 a.m. A
breakfast and egg hunt will begin at 9 a.m. The Easter worship will begin at 10:30 a.m.
On Easter Sunday Cloverdale United Methodist Church will have a Sonrise service at 7:30 a.m. followed by
a breakfast. The main Easter service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Pastor Rosanne Kalinowski will preach
“Jesus Goes Before Us.”
“Monsters, Miracles and a Ghost Story,” will be Pastor Tom Mullins’ message for the 10:30 a.m. Easter
Sunday morning at First Baptist Church. Breakfast will be served at 9:30 a.m.
Easter Sunday at First Christian Church will begin with breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Sunday School follows at
9:15 a.m. The Easter worship will be at 10:30 a.m.
The 10 a.m. Easter Sunday worship  at First Presbyterian Church will be followed by an Easter Potluck
luncheon. The main meat dish will be provided. Others planning to attend are asked to bring a side dish
or dessert to share. There will also be an Easter egg hunt.
Pastor Amy Miller’s sermon Easter Sunday at First United Methodist Church will be “It’s a New Day.” The
8:45 a.m. worship will be led by Praise Team; while the Chancel Choir will lead the 11 a.m. service.
Breakfast will be served by the church’s high school youth group at both 7:45 and 10 a.m.
The program for the 11 a.m. Easter Sunday at Maumee Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation will be
“Practice Resurrection,” by the Rev. Lynn Kerr.
Easter Sunday at Peace Lutheran Church will include a potluck buffet at 9:30 a.m. Restoration of Space
will be at 10:15 a.m. The Easter worship will follow at 10;30 a.m.
Guest speaker Chris Malanowki’s Easter message at Plain Congregational Church will be “Christ the Lord Is
Risen Today.”The worship celebration will be held at 10:15 a.m.
St. Aloysius Catholic Parish will hold a blessing of Easter food at noon on Saturday. The Easter Vigil
Mass will be at 8 p.m. Saturday.  The Easter Sunday Masses will be held at 8 and 10 a.m. and noon.
There will be a 10 a.m. Easter Sunday worship at St. John’s Episcopal Church.
Pastor Rob Spicer’s theme for both the 8:30 and 11 a.m. Easter Sunday services at St. Mark’s Lutheran
Church will be “Christ Is Risen.” Easter Breakfast will be served from 9-11 a.m. There will be an egg

St. Thomas More University Parish will hold its Easter Vigil Mass at 8:30 p.m. Saturday. There will be
Easter Sunday Masses at 10 a.m. and 9 p.m.
Easter Sunday at Trinity United Methodist Church will begin with an Easter Sunrise service at 8:30 a.m.
Easter Breakfast is served at 9:15 a.m. The Easter Celebration Service will be at 1030 a.m.
Village View Church of Christ will begin at 8:30 a.m. with its Easter Sonrise Service at 8 a.m. Easter
Sunday. The Easter Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. An egg hunt follows at 9:15 a.m. At 10 a.m. the
church’s choir will present its Easter musical written by Bettie Dawn Boswell, entitled, “A Civil
Arrangement.”

The Rev. Susan Kronbach’s sermon for the 9:15 a.m. Easter Sunday worship at Bairdstown United Methodist
Church will be, “He Is not Here … He Is Risen.”

Bradner United Methodist Church will hold an Easter Sunday sunrise service at 7 a.m. The Easter Sunday
morning service will be at 10:30 a.m.
CUSTAR
St. Louis Catholic Church will have its Resurrection of the Lord Mass at 9:30 a.m. Easter Sunday.
DOWLING
Easter Sunday at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church will begin with a Sunrise service with Holy Eucharist
at 7:30 a.m. Easter breakfast will be served from 8:30-9:30 a.m. The Festival Worship with Holy
Eucharist will be at 10:15 a.m.
DUNBRIDGE
Easter Sunday at Christ’s Bible Church will begin with a Sonrise service at 8:15 a.m. Pastor Eric Reza’s
sermon will be “A Tomb Tells All.”  Breakfast follows at 9 a.m. There will be fellowship time at 10 a.m.
Pastor Dale Smeltzer’s sermon for the regular worship at 10:30 a.m. will be “Jesus’s Victory and Ours.”

Pastor Scott Carman’s message Easter Sunday at Calvary United Methodist Church will be “Do What Is
Right.”
St. Patrick (Providence) Catholic Parish will have its Easter Vigil Service of Light including Rites of
Initiation for new members at 8 p.m.  Resurrection of the Lord Masses will be at 8 and 11 a.m. on Easter
Sunday.
Pastor Scott Hergert will begin a new sermon series, “From Stress to Rest,” Sunday at New Life Community
Wesleyan Church. It begins at 10:45 a.m. The first message focuses on dealing with stress about the
future.
HASKINS
The Rev. Jennifer Jackson’s sermon for the Easter Celebration service at Haskins Community Church will be
“Dialog With Mary Magdalene.”
HELENA
Shiloh United Methodist Church will celebrate the Lord’s Resurrection with a Son-Rise service at 8 a.m.
Easter Sunday led by laity and children. That will be followed by breakfast and then a 10:30 a.m.
service  Pastor Jeff Ridenour’s sermon will be, “In Deed” followed by a “Reaffirmation of Commitment to
Christ through the Baptismal Covenant and Holy Communion.” There will also be an Easter Egg hunt at 10
a.m. Saturday.

United Methodist Church.

Easter Sunday at Lemoyne Baptist Church will feature a free Resurrection Breakfast at 9 a.m. with a
Resurrection devotion. At the 10:45 a.m. worship  Pastor Ron Shinkle’s Resurrection message will be “The
Empty Tomb.”

Faith United Methodist Church will have a 7 a.m. Easter Sunrise service. Pastor Peter Johnston’s sermon
for the 9 a.m. Easter Sunday worship will be “Encounter at the Empty Tomb.”

will share a Sunrise Service featuring a drama about the real meaning of Easter. Following the service
Easter breakfast will be served will be served at 9 a.m. An Easter egg hunt will be held for the
children around the same time.. The traditional service of Resurrection Celebration will begin at 10:15
a.m. and will feature the choir presentation of “He Is not Here … He Is Risen.” There will be no
Sunday School for adults or children

Masses will be held at the usual times of 8, 9:45 and 11:30 a.m.
St. Rose Catholic Church will have a blessing of food at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. The Easter Vigil Mass will
be at 8:30 p.m. On Easter Sunday there will be a Mass in the church at 7 a.m. Also there will one in the
gym at 8:30 a.m. At 10:15 a.m. Masses will be held in both locations. There is also a noon Mass in the
church. There will be no 5 p.m. Mass either day.
