Toledo Zoo offers Teddy Bear Care Fair with paid admission to zoo

TOLEDO — The Toledo Zoo invites visitors to bring their favorite stuffed pal to Teddy Bear Care Fair on
March 25 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Zoo volunteers will provide check-ups and cosmetic repairs in the workshop at Nature’s Neighborhood to
ensure all stuffed friends are fixed up and fit for another year of fun.
This event is free with zoo admission.  
The Zoo’s Teddy Bear Care Fair showcases the many ways that people can care for animals, from stuffed
buddies to real-life pets to favorite zoo residents.
This year’s focus is on the health, care and activities of our numerous bear species, including polar
bears, grizzly bears and Kodiak bear.
Visitors can also pose questions to animal keepers and veterinary staff during scheduled talks,
experience the zoo’s animal care through animal feeds and demonstrations, enjoy puppet shows, witness a
live animal show, interact with divers in the aquarium, participate in hands-on activities and much
more.

The zoo is open daily at 10 a.m. and is at 2 Hippo Way ,on the Anthony Wayne Trail, four miles south of
downtown Toledo.
