Charges including rape, robbery and felonious assault were handed down by a Wood County grand jury
recently.
Alan Hoffman, 25, Cygnet, was indicted on one count each of rape and sexual battery concerning an
incident alleged on July 24.
According to the indictment for the sexual battery charge, Hoffman is accused of engaging in sexual
conduct with a woman when he knew that she submitted “because she was unaware that the act was being
committed.”
Dexter Haynes Sr., 58, Toledo, was indicted on two counts of assault, one count of robbery and one count
of unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Those charges stem from an incident reported in the 1000 block of Buck Road, Rossford, on Nov. 3.
According to bind over papers from Perrysburg Municipal Court, Haynes threatened and engaged in a
physical altercation with a man and a woman over the man’s disability money. He also reportedly drove
away in the alleged male victim’s vehicle, which he had been asked to return.
James Robinson, 27, Pemberville, was indicted on one count each of felonious assault, having weapons
while under disability, and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle concerning an alleged Dec.
19 incident.
The indictment for the felonious assault charge alleges that he caused or attempted to cause harm to a
man with a handgun.
Also indicted were:
• Cody Armstrong, 23, Lyons: receiving stolen property.
• Terrane Cabil Jr., 19, Bowling Green: petty theft, trafficking in marijuana.
• Benito Canales, 40, Wauseon: having weapons while under disability.
• Joshua Ferguson, 38, Nawaygo, Michigan: theft, receiving stolen property.
• Tanisha Fortner, 37, Toledo: possession of cocaine.
• Dannie Harrold, 59, Fostoria: aggravated menacing, having weapons while under disability.
• James Howell, 45, and co-defendant Teddy Hartley, 28, both of Findlay: two counts of burglary, four
counts of breaking and entering, one count each of theft and theft from a person in a protected class.
• Thomas Kline, 32, Findlay: three counts of receiving stolen property.
• Alontaye Lewis, 19, Detroit: trafficking in marijuana, possession of marijuana.
• Jordan McGraw, 26, Gulf Shores, Alabama: vandalism, breaking and entering.
• Ryan Miller, 39, Bowling Green: grand theft, receiving stolen property.
• Joshua Pallitta, 40, Northwood: trafficking in marijuana.
• Amanda Sargent, 26, Perrysburg: theft of drugs.
• Damien Schooner, 28, Bowling Green: domestic violence, two counts of violating a protection order.
• Valerie Torres, 35, Bowling Green: possession of heroin.
• Michael Warner, 35, Toledo: failure to provide notice of change of address.
