HOYTVILLE — A teen girl was reportedly shot in the eye with a pellet gun in the village on Saturday. The
incident was reported at 4:12 p.m. in the 2000 block of North Maple Street in the village.
According to a blotter entry, a caller said that the girl had been shot in the eye by another juvenile,
and said that the incident was accidental.
The entry said the girl was able to see out of the injured eye at the time of the call.
An incident report listed a 16-year-old male juvenile as the suspect in the matter.
