50+ Shades of Grey exhibit opens today at senior center

The 50+ Shades of Grey, an adult art exhibit opens, today at the Wood County Senior Center, 305 N. Main
St.
Appropriately, there are 50-plus pieces of art on display, all created by those age 50 or older. The
exhibited pieces run the gamut of two-dimensional media.
While most of the art features watercolors oils and acrylics, there are also tempera, pen and ink,
colored pencil, photography and charcoal works of art.There are also various mixed media pieces and a
collage or two.
Among the art are also two pieces created with dried flowers; two done with spray paint and two pieces
created with stoneware clay.
The gala opening reception is today from 5-7 p.m. Some of the items are for sale; while others the
artists are just displaying and are not for sale.
The exhibit coordinated and operated by the Bowling Green Arts Council will remain on display through
March 23.
The public is invited to attend the reception or visit the temporary gallery during normal operating
hours.
