German Lutherans meet Sunday
ARCHBOLD — A special session at 2 p.m. Sunday will provide information on church furnishings,
architecture, altars and baptismal fonts.  
The Rev. Keith Hunzinger of Hope Lutheran Church, Hamler, has researched the topic and will lead the
session.
The program will be held at the Lutheran Social Services building, across from the Four County Career
Center on Ohio 66, south of Archbold.  
Coffee cake and beverages will be served. The public is welcome to the free event. More information can

Chili cook-off is Saturday
RISINGSUN — First Church of God, 7968 U.S. 23, will hold its chili cook-off Saturday. Registration will
begin at 4:40 p.m. with judging at 5:40 p.m. There is a $5 charge to enter a chili in the contest.
People’s choice awards will be awarded for the top three with celebrity judges awarding an overall grand
champion.
The all-you-can-eat chili dinner is $8 and includes cornbread, a dessert and beverage. Youth under 6 will
eat for free.
Family-based Super Bowl party planned at First United Methodist
First United Methodist Church, 1506 E. Wooster St., will be hosting a Super Bowl party on Sunday starting
at 6 p.m. The public is invited to join in on the food, games and fellowship, along with the big game.
Those attending are asked to bring a snack to share.
Senior CSI event set
PERRYSBURG — CSI, Christian Seniors Interacting, invites all seniors in the area to attend its next
meeting to be held Feb. 14 at Abundant Life No. 2, 200 Zoar Drive, Perrysburg. The event is held twice
each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There is a $1 charge for miscellaneous expenses.
The 11:30 a.m. Bible study will be led by Pastor Jeff Woolum of First Baptist Church. Lunch is served at
noon, provided by Sunset House.
The program which follows will be Maumee Senior Center Choir.
To reserve a spot, seniors should call Phyllis Morton at 419-872-0846 by Thursday.
Dinner concert planned
NORTH BALTIMORE — Truck Stop Ministries, Inc., is planning a dinner concert on Feb. 12 featuring Peggy
Richardson and His Servants. It will be held at the Iron Skillet Restaurant, located at the Petro Truck
Stop, 12900 Deshler Road. Dinner will be served at 5 p.m. The concert follows at 6 p.m.
