Gun violence again claims US lives

To the Editor:
Another five innocent Americans have been killed at the baggage counter at the Fort Lauderdale airport.
How many innocent Americans will have to die until Americans in general come to their senses and
overturn the Second Amendment, letting individual communities vote of the issue of gun control (not
individual states, where the NRA can be more confident of influencing the vote)?
How long until the ability to carry guns onto airplanes, into schools and churches, etc. is restricted?
The time is now, but given the upcoming Trump presidency, unlikely to happen anytime soon.
Still, there is always the next election.
