Eli Smith and Kiah Powell have been crowned North Baltimore High School’s Winter Homecoming king and
queen.
They were crowned Friday.
Powell is the daughter of Charlotte Powell. She plays basketball and is a member of Glamour Gals,
National Honor Society, Paws for a Cause, and Tri-M.
After high school, she plans to attend Malone University for pre-med studies while continuing to play
basketball.
Smith is the son of Sandra Weaver and James Smith. He has been a member of the golf team at NBHS for
three years and also plays the guitar and is involved in jazz band, swing choir, Paws for a Cause, and
track.
Upon graduation, he plans to attend Bowling Green State University to major in communications.
The homecoming court included seniors Catlin Cook, Taylor Bishop, Andrea Roddy and Aaron Fisher; juniors
Valerie Buchanan and Billy Trout; sophomores Hannah Lord and Harley Cole; and freshmen Abbi North and
Zeth Johnson
Cook is the daughter of Mike Cook, Amy Meadows, and Joanne Gerdeman. She plays volleyball, basketball and
softball at NBHS and is a member of National Honor Society, Paws for a Cause, and student council.
After graduation, she plans to attend BGSU.
Bishop is the son of Ryan and Karen Bishop. He is undecided about his future plans.
Roddy is the daughter of Kristina King and Shawn Roddy. She is a member of Paws for a Cause.
After graduation, Andrea plans to attend UNOH to receive her associates in medical assisting, and then
get her bachelor’s degree in health care administration.
Fisher is the son of Aaron and Shari Fisher. He participates in track and cross country.
In the future, he plans to join the Marine Reserves, and then attend college for video game design.
Buchanan is the daughter of Robert and Jolyn Buchanan. She is an active member of National Honor Society,
student council, Paws for a Cause, Tri-M, swing choir, and  drama club. She also participates in
cheerleading, golf, and softball. She volunteers with Glamour Gals of Fostoria.
Trout is the son of Dawn Trout and Mike Trout. He is a member of the quiz bowl team, concert jazz,
marching band, pep band, Tri-M, drama club, and the NBHS Improv Group. He is involved with Boy Scouts.

Lord is the daughter of Julie Lord and Joe Lord. She plays travel softball and volleyball.
Cole is the son of Steve Cole and Shelly LaRotonda.
North is the daughter of Marlene and Chris North. She is involved in the band, choir, swing choir, track,
volleyball, and drama club.
Johnson is the son of Ericka Zitzelberger and Matthew Zitzelberger. He is a member of the wrestling,
cross country, and track teams.
Avery Benedict and Gavin Sesok, both in kindergarten, served as princess and prince.
Avery is the daughter of Adam and Ashley Benedict. When she grows up, she wants to be a veterinarian.
Gavin is the son of Mike and Rhonda Sesok. When he grows up, he wants to be a cowboy.
