Dec. 19 citations:
Right of way/stop sign: Celsea Blunke, Weston.
Gabriel Jastal, 27, Toledo, was arrested on a drug abuse charge after reportedly being found in
possession of drugs at the Wood County Justice Center.
Dec. 20 citations:
Driving under suspension, expired registration: Jenifer Place, Fostoria.
Speed: Lucas Gonyer, Wayne.
Accidents occurred:

•    At Kellogg Road, west of Tontogany Creek Road. Carter Horvath, Weston, was cited for reasonable
control after his vehicle struck ice and hit a utility pole.
•    At Ohio 105, west of Aufderstrasse Road. Tyler Morlock, Portage, was cited for left of center after
a collision with Arthur Lilje, Swanton.
In the 4000 block of Pelton Road, rural Fostoria, Franklin Coffer, 55, was arrested on a misdemeanor
warrant from Fostoria Municipal Court.
At U.S. 6 and Chamberlain Road, rural BG, a caller reported that ice from a semi truck fell off and hit
their vehicle, causing damage.
A scam call was reportedly received on Haskins Road, rural BG. The complainant said the scammer told them
they were one of their grandchildren and they wouldn’t be able to understand them because they had a
cold. The scammer sought $2,000.
Dec. 21 citations:
Failure to control: Ryan Nijakowski, BG.
OVI, reasonable control: Loretta Sherman, Fremont.
Accidents occurred:
Dec. 21
•    At Fremont Pike, west of Pemberville Road. Loretta Scherman, Fremont, was cite for reasonable
control after her vehicle went off the road and down and embankment.
Theft of money was reported in the 19000 block of East Church Street, Hoytville.
A fraud incident was reported in the 9000 block of Yates Road, Cygnet.
In the 10000 block of Pemberville Road, Wayne, a juvenile was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center
after an incident in which a female juvenile had reportedly struck a male at the scene, broke an item
and left the residence.
Dec. 22 citations:
No license, rear plate light: Colin Perry, Weston.
Accidents occurred:

•    At U.S. 23 and Gibsonburg Road. Virginia Spaun, Fostoria, was cited for assured clear distance ahead
after a collision with Eric Jones, Gibsonburg. A passenger in Spaun’s vehicle, Destiny Clark, Fostoria,
and a passenger in Jones’ vehicle, Teresa Jones, Gibsonburg, reported possible injuries but were not
taken to a hospital.
• At South Dixie Highway, north of Cygnet Road. Linda Leimgruber, Cygnet, was cited for improper
starting/backing after a collision with Todd Bonaguro, North Baltimore.
A vehicle’s tire was punctured in the 6000 block of Huffman Road, Cygnet. This was the second time in a
month that it had occurred.
Loose chickens were reported on the roadway in the 10000 block of Kramer Road, rural BG.
Dec. 23 citations:
OVI, prohibited alcohol (BAC 0.276), lanes of travel, turn and stop signals: Wendell Grimes, Findlay.

•    At Ohio 65 and Kellogg Road. Michael Vanduser, Wauseon, was cited for right of way at a stop sign
after a collision with Nicholas Laporte, Grand Rapids.
A telephone harassment incident was reported in the 15000 block of King Road, rural BG.
A theft incident, involving services which were paid for in advance but not rendered, was reported in the
19000 block of Otsego Pike, rural BG.
A domestic violence incident was reported in the 18000 block of Brim Road, rural BG.

•    At Bradford Street, south of Walbridge Road, Cygnet. An unknown vehicle struck a vehicle parked in
the roadway.
An unwanted guest incident was reported in the 3000 block of Truman Road, rural Perrysburg.
An apparent trespassing incident was reported at Distinctive Finishes, 10110 Wingston Road, Rudolph.
Theft of a Christmas light projector was reported in the 300 block of Walbridge Street, Cygnet.
A telephone harassment incident was reported in the 13000 block of Sumner Street, Weston.
Theft of a mailbox was reported in the 9000 block of Easy Gypsy Lane Road, rural BG.

•    At U.S. 20, east of Cherry Street in Troy Township. Brent Stockmaster, Tiffin, was cited for
reasonable control after his vehicle went off the road and struck a pole.
An assault incident was reported in the 2000 block of Elmore Road, Pemberville.

Theft of a mailbox was reported in the 14000 block of Bradner Road, Bradner. The mailbox was believed to
have been taken Dec. 23 or Dec. 24.
On Dec. 26, a breaking and entering incident was reported in the 100 block of North Bell Street, Bradner.
A chain saw was taken from a garage.
Theft of a Christmas decoration was reported in the 4000 block of Defiance Pike, Wayne.
Dec. 27 citations:
Open container: Rogelio Guerra III, Fostoria.
Seat belt: Jessica Walsh, New Port Richey, Florida.
Speed: Judy Diemer, Leipsic; Amy Higley, Findlay.
Speed, failure to reinstate: Miguel Meza Jr., Fostoria.
Accidents occurred:
Dec. 27
•    At U.S. 6, east of Bradner Road. Steven Phillips, Toledo, was cited for reasonable control and
failure to reinstate after his vehicle ran off the road and overturned in a  field. Phillips reportedly
stated he had fallen asleep.
A sex offense occurring in the county was reported to the sheriff’s office.
