To the Editor:
A letter writer lamented on Jan. 4 that she has been the object of ridicule and scorn by the mean old
liberals who just don’t get her real motivations for supporting Trump for president.
Well, you can spin things any way you want, but you supported and voted for a petulant child/man that
mocked a disabled gentleman, is supported by the KKK, tweets at all hours like a 13-year-old girl, won’t
release his tax returns, stiffs his contractors and bows down to a Russian puppetmaster. What do you
expect people to think and say?
These are facts, which don’t seem to matter one bit to Trump’s cult, only that he talks loudly (with all
the best words, believe me) and plays the role of the tough guy.
Then she goes on to say that we all need to unite behind this clueless imbecile for the good of the
country? Right, like the Republicans have united behind Obama for the last eight years? These people are
staggering in their hypocrisy.
The fact remains that a few hundred thousand votes in key states are all that put this joke in office,
and that more Americans voted against him than for him. If you are expecting anything but resistance to
this would be two-bit dictator, I’m afraid you are going to be disappointed. This is real life, not a
reality show.
Trump is a clear and present danger to our country. It is staggering that some people can’t, or refuse
to, see that is a con man. And not even a very good one.
