Burglary reported in BG
A burglary incident was reported in Bowling Green last week.
The incident, reported in the 100 block of Clay Street on Dec. 26, was reported at 4:58 p.m.
Unknown subjects reportedly entered the residence while the occupants were away and took a pair of
headphones and two controllers to a Playstation video game console.
Free rides given to 147 on New Years Eve
A total of 147 people took advantage of free rides offered by the Swallow Your Pride, Call for a Ride
effort on New Year’s Eve in Bowling Green.
The program, sponsored by Safe Communities of Wood County, took place from 11 p.m. on Saturday to 4:30
a.m. on Sunday.
That number is down from 200 riders who used the service on New Year’s Eve of 2015.
