Spaghetti dinner to assist Joe Costilla with medical bills
HASKINS — A benefit for Joe Costilla will be held Aug. 8 to help cover medical expenses for a liver
transplant.
The spaghetti dinner will be held 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Haskins Community Church, 209 W. Main St. Dinner
includes all-you-can-eat spaghetti, bread, salad, dessert and drinks.
The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children (under 3 eat free).
Monetary donations also are welcome.
Costilla is suffering from long-term liver failure. He is in critical condition at the Cleveland Clinic,
waiting a transplant. Money raised will help cover medical expenses and for lodging so his wife can be
near.
Tooth Trot Color Dash to help abused children
Dental Excellence of Napoleon will be holding its Tooth Trot Color Dash on Aug. 8.
This 5K/1 mile color run will help raise money for organizations that benefit abused and neglected
children, including Henry County Court Appointment Special Advocate (CASA) program, The Center for Child
and Family Advocacy, and Children’s Lantern.
The race will start and end at the Dental Excellence of Napoleon office at 610 Broadmoor Ave. Race day
registration starts at 7:30 a.m. Participants can pre-register at the Dental Excellence office or online
at Happy-Dentistry.com by Aug. 1 to receive a free T-shirt. T-shirts are only guaranteed for those who
pre-register. The one-mile fun run starts at 8:15 a.m., with the 5K starting at 9 a.m.
