Arlyn W. Snyder, 84, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away Sunday May 31, 2015.
He was born August 7, 1930 in Haskins, Ohio to Andrew and Aurelia (Weimer) Snyder. He married Judith Ann
Musson on October 18, 1964 and she survives in Bowling Green.
Arlyn was a general contractor building homes, commercial buildings, steel buildings and remodeling since
1964.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 441, Flying Quail Chapter of Penn-Ohio Model A Club,
Whitehouse Model A Club of MARC, the American Hereford Association and a charter member of Haskins
Community Church. He was the former director of Ohio Hereford Association and former advisor of the Ohio
Junior Hereford Association.
Arlyn was also the owner/operator of J Bar A Here fords and a member of the Wood County Beef Producers
Association.
Along with his wife Judy, Arlyn is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother Russell Snyder and sisters Auretia Scharf and Arleta Hook.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the
Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Dale
Schaefer will officiate.
Interment will follow at Fish Cemetery.
Following burial at Fish Cemetery the family would like to invite everyone to a luncheon at St. Paul’s
Lutheran Church, 14545 New Rochester Road, Pemberville, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be given in Arlyn’s memory to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in New Rochester,
Ohio or Haskins Community Church.
