‘Trunk Show’ on Saturday
Seven entities are combining their efforts for a “Naturally Crafty Trunk Show” on Saturday from 9 a.m. to
2 p.m. The event will be held at 611 Orleans Avenue in Bowling Green. Those interested may come and go
as they please.
Organizers indicate they will be offering a collection of natural resources all in once place. The
offerings include the opportunity to:
• obtain a spot for a buying group (or co-op) for produce and chicken.
• sample granola
• restock homemade soaps
• discover essential baby items not offered in stores
• acquire homemade herbal products
• learn about health and fitness,
• browse items for a items to display in your home.  
The individuals with businesses will welcome visitors during the event.
Local 50 celebrates 125 years
Local 50 recently celebrated the 125th anniversary of the union’s charter with an evening gala held at
Owens Community College.
The event commemorated the many generations of UA Local 50’s plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC-R and welding
professionals and their dedication to building up the communities across the region. From residential
homes and industrial facilities to the most iconic buildings adorning Toledo’s skyline, the construction
work of UA Local 50 has helped keep Northwest Ohio’s residents and visitors healthy and safe for 125
years.
Area politicians served as guest speakers to supplement the evening of dinner dancing.
Organizers highlighted the union’s history and past accomplishments while also looking ahead to many more
years of service to the region.
