The Wood County Sheriff has declared a Level 1: Snow Alert for the county for today (Feb. 18).
A snow alert means: Roadways are hazardous, with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may also be icy. Drive
very cautiously.
Because of the deteriorating weather conditions the Lake boys basketball team has canceled its trip to
play Elmwood tonght.
