Ohio school chief accused of obstructing drug investigation

CLYDE, Ohio — A northern Ohio school superintendent has been accused of blocking a drug investigation at
a middle school.
Police say Clyde Green Springs Schools Superintendent David Stubblebine was charged with obstructing
official business.
Media reports say the charge stems from an investigation that began after police were called to a middle
school in December.
Officers say they were blocked from investigating and that Stubblebine told them the district would
conduct its own investigation.
Stubblebine says the charges aren’t warranted.
He says in a statement released to staff members that he could not talk about the details of the case,
but said he was innocent.
