Bowling Green State University’s 2015 Mid-American Conference football schedule should look familiar to
Falcon fans.
The Falcons will play the same conference schedule as last season after going 5-3 in MAC play, the MAC
announced Thursday.
Bowling Green will host Akron, Massachusetts, Ohio and Toledo next season, and will travel to Western
Michigan, Ball State, Kent State and Buffalo.
Dates and times for the games will be announced at a later date.
It will mark the second straight season that Bowling Green will not play rival Miami, with the last
matchup being a 45-3 Falcons win in 2013.
Bowling Green will not play Central Michigan for the fifth straight year, and it will not have a
regular-season game with Northern Illinois. The last time NIU and Bowling Green met in the regular
season was on Oct. 25, 2008 in Dekalb when the Huskies won 16-13.
NIU and the Falcons have met twice in the MAC championship game since ten, with the team’s splitting the
contests.
The announcement of the conference slate wraps up Bowling Green’s schedule for next season. The Falcons
will have five home games and seven road games. They will be on the road in nonconference play against
Tennessee, Maryland and Purdue, while they will host Memphis.
Bowling Green’s opponents went a combined 70-77 last season with its nonconference opponents going 27-24.
