Jacket boys improve to 8-2

Perrysburg’s boys basketball team improved to 8-2 overall and 3-1 in the Northern Lakes League with a
53-48 win over Maumee (1-9, 0-4).
Connor Jordan led the Yellow Jackets with 12 points, while Zach Schrock and Quinn Thomas added 12 and 11
points, respectively.
Perrysburg took a 35-24 lead into halftime and held on for the win.

GIRLS
Lake 59, Rossford 42
In Millbury, Alexis Hansen and Lauren Ozuk each had 10 points as Lake improved to 7-5 overall and 3-2 in
the Northern Buckeye Conference.
The Flyers held a 32-26 lead at the half and pulled away over the final two quarters. Lake was 24 of 52
from the field and had just 10 turnovers.
Ozuk also had five rebounds, while Lake’s Jordyn Taylor had five assists and seven steals.
Three players scored in double figures for Rossford (2-7, 1-4) – Cheyenne Davis led the way with 14,
Regan Clay scored 11 and Nicole Beyer had 10.
Otsego 57, Fostoria 29
In Tontogany, Otsego took a 10-0 lead after the first looked back in an NBC game.
Kim Forshey had 19 points and 10 rebounds, and Morgan Smoyer added 10 points and 10 rebounds for Otsego
(6-4, 4-1). Fostoria is 6-5, 2-3.
Woodmore 57, Eastwood 45
In Elmore, Reagan Boice had 12 points and Mackenzie Albright added 11 for Eastwood (2-7, 0-5) in an NBC
game.
Woodmore (5-5, 2-3) pulled away over the final three periods after leading 18-14 after one quarter.
Ottawa-Glandorf 38, Perrysburg 35
In Ottawa, Allex Brown scored 16 points in a nonconference game for Perrysburg, but she was the only
Yellow Jacket to reach double figures.
Perrysburg (5-4) trailed 22-17 at halftime.
