Academic All-MAC awards
Bowling Green State University’s women’s soccer team had six athletes named to the academic
All-Mid-American Confernence team.
Paige Amodio, Kyle Briem, Lauren Cadel, Jessica Creech, Sidney Huth and Haley Parkinson were six of the
123 conference picks.
Seven members of the women’s cross country team were selected, along with four memebers of the men’s
cross country team.
Andrea Alt, Maria Meredith, Jasmine Redman, Becca Rae, Mackenzie McMillin, Brent Darah and Allison
Francis were selected to the women’s team.
Greg Black, Jeremy Richard, Travis Jex and Nathan Kuck were men’s picks.
Owens women win
Owens Community College’s women’s basketball team was a 90-79 winner over Roane State Community College
Monday night.
It was the No. 5 Express’ 15th straight win as they improved to 15-1 on the season.
Sierra Harley led Owens with 24 points.
