BGHS girls beat Elmwood

Livvy Dill scored 22 points to lead Bowling Green’s girls basketball team to a 45-30 nonleague win over
Elmwood Saturday.
Kendall Glandorf added 13 points for the Bobcats, who improved to 3-5 on the year.
Samantha Ervin led Elmwood (6-4) with nine points.
BASKETBALL
GIRLS
Eastwood 56, Margaretta 49
In Luckey, Eastwood used a 37-point second half to overcome its one-point halftime deficit to defeat
Margaretta.
Reagan Boice led the Eagles with 15 points, while Mackenzie Albright added 13.
Eastwood is 2-6 overall.
Lake 61, Bowsher 50
In Toledo, Lake used a 26-point second quarter to lead 36-26 at halftime and beat Bowsher.
Jordyn Taylor led all scorers with 19 points for the Flyers while Lauren Ozuk added 13.
The Flyers were out-rebounded 50-26, but forced 40 Bowsher turnovers.
Lake is 6-5 overall.
BOYS
Eastwood 67, Tinora 53
In Defiance, Eastwood jumped out to a 43-22 first half lead to defeat Tinora.
Noah Smith and Zach Jacoby led the Eagles with 23 and 22 points, respectively, including 20 of the teams
23 made free throws.
Eastwood is 6-2 overall, Tinora is 4-2.
Elmwood 51,
Hopewell-Loudon 45
In Jerry City, Elmwood made just 13 shots from the field, but used 20 made free throws to top
Hopewell-Loudon.
The Royals had five players score at least eight points including Deven Peter with a team-high 12.
Elmwood is 5-2 overall.
WRESTLING
Rossford was fifth out of 30 teams in the Marion Harding Wrestling Classic on Dec. 29 and 30.
Tanner Krotzer (106) and Austin Eick (113) finished second in their respective divisions, while Casey Orr
(170) was third, Andrew Myers (160) was fourth, and Jacob Schimming (220) was sixth.
