GENOA, Ohio (AP) — The State Highway Patrol is investigatinga two-vehicle crash that killed
one driver and injured two people innorthwest Ohio.The patrol says 54-year-old Russell H. Warnke
ofNorthwood was driving his truck southbound on Route 51 in Ottawa Countyon Friday when he suffered an
undisclosed medical problem causing him todrive left of center. His vehicle then collided head-on with
that ofJacob M. Thompson of Toledo.Authorities say the 32-year-oldThompson was not wearing a seat belt
and was pronounced dead at thescene. Warnke also was not wearing a seat belt and
sustained"incapacitating" injuries. He was transported to a Toledo hospital. His53-year-old
passenger, Wanda L. Warnke, also was seriously injured.The patrol says alcohol was not a factor and no
