Tornado sirens that blew in Bowling Green this morning were part of a test.The sirens were set
off shortly after 8 a.m.Wood County Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn said that one siren was being repaired in
the city, and the company doing the work asked to have the siren set off to determine if it was
fixed.Due to the siren system, “we can’t set off just one siren,” said Wasylyshyn, so all sounded as
part of the test.Bowling Green State University sent out an alert about the sirens this morning,
informing subscribers that the siren was a test.
