Bowling Green was honored during the past year at the 2013 AMP/OMEA Annual Conference in
Columbus.Director of Utilities Brian O’Connell was recognized for his service to the American Municipal
Power, Inc. Board of Trustees and the city was re-elected to a new three-year term representing members
of the Northwest AMP Service Group. O’Connell was also re-elected chair of the OMEGA Joint Venture 6
Board of Participants. The board oversees management and operation of the AMP Wind Farm. He is Vice
Chair of the OMEGA JV 5 Board of Participants, which oversees operation of the Belleville Hydroelectric
Plant.
