One person was taken to the hospital following a rollover accident on North Main Street Friday
afternoon.Bowling Green Police report that at 3:44 p.m. Caitlin Roca, Fostoria, was traveling northbound
attempting to turn into the parking lot of 1040 N. Main St., when Tyler Burg, Bowling Green, also
northbound, attempted to change lanes.Burg’s vehicle, a 2001 Dodge Intrepid, struck Roca’s vehicle, a
1999 Jeep Cherokee, in the left rear, causing Roca’s vehicle to roll over onto its top. The vehicle
skidded and came to a final rest within the parking lot.Burg’s vehicle was reportedly traveling 30 miles
per hour at the time of the crash.Roca was extricated from the vehicle by non-mechanical means and
transported to Wood County Hospital by Bowling Green Fire/EMS with incapacitating injuries. She was
wearing a seat belt.She was not listed as a patient at the hospital this morning.Burg was cited for
assured clear distance ahead.
