ADAMHS honors four

GRAND RAPIDS – Two judges, a criminal justice administrator and a former school superintendent
were honored Monday by the Wood County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services.Bowling Green
Municipal Court Judge Mark Reddin, Wood County Juvenile Court Judge David Woessner, Wood County Juvenile
Court Executive Director Tim J. Brown and former North Baltimore school superintendent Kyle Clark, were
all presented with advocate awards at the board’s annual meeting.Tom Clemons, executive director of the
ADAMHS board, said Wood County has a "large number of intelligent, knowledgeable and compassionate
leaders who are committed to making life better here in Wood County."Clemons credited Reddin for
taking time to study mental health courts and dockets in other cities to learn how it could be
implemented in Bowling Green.Similarly, Woessner was thanked for taking on the "demanding and
rigorous requirements" to start a mental health docket in juvenile court.Brown was described as a
"quiet and persistent leader" who was also instrumental in the juvenile court mental health
docket.Clark is project director for the Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative at the Wood County
Educational Service Center.
