Christa Stalter weds Kyle Rath

St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Bowling
Green, was the setting for the Sept. 14 wedding of Christa Stalter and Kyle Rath.Father Mark Davis was
celebrant for the 2 p.m. ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Dan and Tina Stalter, Bowling Green. The
groom is the son of Doug Rath, Bowling Green, and Cindy Tyree, Haskins; and stepson of Tim Tyree,
Maumee.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin A-line Oleg Cassini gown with
illusion lace straps and a full satin skirt. She chose an ivory cathedra-length veil.Kassie Stalter of
Bowling Green, sister-in-law of the bride, was maid of honor.Bridesmaids were Amber Schutt of Haskins,
sister of the groom; Kim Machesky, Dublin; and Julie Moor, Maumee.The attendants wore marine blue satin
strapless ballgowns with side draped skirts and silver brooches.Journey and Faith Moor, Maumee. were
flower girls. They wore ivory dresses with blue floral detailsRing bearers were Noah Schutt of Haskins,
nephew of the groom, and Nate Frost, Bowling Green.Ben Shurts, Bowling Green, served as best
man.Groomsmen were Scott Schutt of Haskins, brother-in-law of the groom; Chip Frost, Bowling Green,
cousin of the groom; and Anthony Jenson, Wauseon.Musicians for the ceremony were organist Neil Craft and
soloist Mike Strobel.A reception was held at Dyer’s Banquet Hall, Bowling Green, with music furnished by
DJ Doug Michaelis.The newlyweds will make their home in Bowling Green.The bride graduated from Bowling
Green High School in 1998. She earned a bachelor’s degree in 2003 and a master’s degree in 2009, both
from Bowling Green State University, and is employed by the Toledo Public Schools.The groom, a 2002
graduate of Otsego High School, is employed in construction.
