Burglary in RossfordROSSFORD – Police are looking into a robbery that occurred early Thursday at a
business on Crossroads Parkway.At approximately 2:18 a.m., a masked male entered Barneys on Crossroads
Parkway at Ohio 795. He reportedly pointed a black gun at the store’s clerk and told him lay on the floor.
The suspect then left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.The suspect was wearing a black ski mask,
black jacket, black athletic pants with two white stripes running down each leg, grey gloves and white
shoes.BGPD offers training for liquor establishmentsThe Bowling Green Police Division will be providing
Liquor Establish Employee Training (LEET) on Tuesday.The training will run from 7 to 9 p.m. and will focus
on civil liability, Ohio and Bowling Green liquor laws and fake ID recognition. Employees and management
staff of local businesses (bars and retail outlets) that sell alcoholic beverages are encouraged to
attend.This training will take place at the Bowling Green Police Division’s Training Room at 175 W. Wooster

Commission approved minor changes Tuesday to pond requirements in Troy Township.Adjustments included
setbacks and maintenance provisions, and minimum size and slope requirements. The board made several
recommendations to the township, including a 50-foot setback from roadways and 20-feet from rear property
lines, and installation of a safety shelf inside the pond, according to Dave Steiner, director of the
