BGSU fan busses planned for Kent State and IndianaThe Bowling Green State University Falcon Club
is planning fan buses to the Sept. 7 football game at Kent State and Sept. 14 football game at Indiana.The
buses are open to all Falcon Club members, students, and Falcon fans and a minimum attendee number is
required.The bus prices do not include the price of a game ticket or the pre-game tailgate event sponsored
by the BGSU Alumni Association.For the Kent State game, the cost is $30 for Falcon Club members and students
and $45 for non Falcon Club members. The bus will leave Lot 13 on Stadium Drive a at 7:30 a.m. in time to
make the alumni event in Kent at 10:30. The reversations are due by Monday.Game tickets can be purchased for
$10 at the BGSU Ticket Office in the Stroh Center or by calling 877-BGSU-TICKET. They will be available to
purchase at BGSU until Sept. 3.For the trip to Indiana, the cost is $60 for Falcon Club members and students
and $75 for non Falcon Club members. Reservations are due by Sept. 6.The bus to Indiana will leave Lot 13 on
Stadium Drive at 5 a.m. in time to make the BGSU alumni event by 10 a.m.Game tickets can be purchased for
$40 at the BGSU Ticket Office in the Stroh Center or by calling 877-BGSU-TICKET. They will be available to
purchase at BGSU until Sept. 10.To make bus reservations call (419) 372-2401. Fans will pay by cash or check
(made out to BGSU Foundation) when boarding the bus.Falcon add asst. tennis coachJim Kaser has been hired as
an assistant women’s tennis coach at Bowling Green State University.For the past five years, Kaser has been
the teaching professional at the Perrysburg Tennis Center, the indoor home of the Falcons. Previously, he
was the head professional at Inverness Club for 17 years and the Toledo Tennis Club for eight years. He was
also a high school tennis coach at Maumee Valley for more than a decade.Kaser earned four varsity letters at
the University of Toledo (1982-86). He has won a pair of national doubles titles, and has won six Toledo
city men’s doubles titles and two Toledo city mixed doubles championships.BGSU softball tryouts plannedThe
Bowling Green State University softball team is holding tryouts Monday at 2 p.m. at Meserve Field.The
tryouts are open to any BGSU student enrolled for the fall semester. Students will need to have a physical
done before stepping onto the field, and fill out any other paper work that is required.For more

outing setThe alumni golf outing for the Bowling Green State University baseball program is Oct. 12.The
outing will be held at Riverby Hills Golf Club and will feature 36 foursomes. The second annual event is a

Hockey team is holding open tryouts for players ages 14-18 on Sept. 29 and Oct. 6 from 1-2 p.m. in the BGSU
Ice Arena.The cost is $10 per tryout and all players must be registered with USA Hockey in advance. Proof of
