Catholic Charities hosts adoption information sessionTOLEDO – Catholic Charities will host an
Adoption Information Meeting on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Diocese of Toledo, 1933 Spielbush Ave.The
evening will include a guest panel of adoptive couples who will share their stories and answer questions.The
meeting is free and is required for prospective adoptive parents to register for Catholic Charities’
program.Catholic Charities has facilitated domestic infant adoptions since 1914 and international adoptions
since 1990, servicing couples of all faiths in northwest Ohio.The agency supports birth parents, adoptive
parents and adoptees before and after the adoption process.For adoptive parents, the process includes a home
study, education series, creation of a family profile, approval and placement.To register or for more

for information about a two-part Adoption Education Series in August.Catholic Charities serves 40,000 people

elderly.Crossroads plans Aug. 13 Quilt FrolicNORTH BALTIMORE – Crossroads Quilters will meet for a
"Quilt Frolic" next Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. James United Methodist Church, 201 S. Second
St..Quilters will be working on their own projects or the club’s outreach projects. Anyone interested in
quilting is welcome to attend.Members will assist beginning quilters. Bring your own sewing machine, fabric
and supplies. An iron, ironing board and cutting board will be supplied.There is no charge.Feel free to
