Tickets will be available at the gate for the National Tractor Pulling championships Aug. 16-18 at
the Wood County Fairgrounds. It’s the 47th annual pull.Pulling action begins Aug. 16 with sessions at 1 and
7:30 p.m. The Aug. 17 sessions are at noon and 6:30 p.m. The pull concludes Aug. 18 with a noon session.
There are two pulling tracks for each session.Tickets for this year’s championships can also be purchased at
participating Kroger stores.Tickets purchased at the gate are: $110 for an adult all-session pass; $44 for
all-day Friday; $22 for Friday evening; $44 for all-day Saturday; $22 for Saturday evening; and $22 for
Sunday. Credit cards will not be accepted at the ticket gate on the day of the pull.Reserved seating is
available and it applies to bleachers on the north side and the covered grandstand and finish line towers on
the south side. These seats are an additional $4 per seat per session.There are no raindates and no refunds
for tickets for the championships.No glass containers are permitted and no coolers larger than 12x12x12 are
allowed in the stands. All coolers, bags, fanny packs, purses etc. will be checked. Also no unauthorized
ATV’s or golf carts are permitted on the grounds.The Super Stock Diesel Tractors have moved from afternoon
to the evening session on Aug. 17.The fan appreciation night is Aug. 15 from 8 p.m.-midnight. Haywire will
be playing a free concert at the Crazy Frank Pavilion in the campground area. The paddock area is open for
fans to take a look at the tractors and trucks.The tentative dates for 2014 are Aug. 15-17. There is no
