Legionnaires’ infects 22 at Ohio retirement home

REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio (AP) — An outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease has infected 22 people at a central
Ohio retirement community.The Columbus Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1bONzwW ) reports that those infected
include visitors, residents and employeesof Wesley Ridge Retirement Community in the Columbus suburb
ofReynoldsburg. Health officials say two residents have died from thesevere form of pneumonia. It is
contracted through contaminated mist orwater vapor and isn’t contagious.Franklin County Public Health hasn’t
released names and ages of those who died.Legionnaires’ symptoms can include fever, chills, muscle aches,
headaches, fatigue and loss of appetite.Twenty people have been hospitalized since the outbreak began July
