Katie Cochrane presents piano recital on SaturdayBowling Green High School senior Katie
Cochrane will present her senior piano recital Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Bowling Green Performing Arts
Center.The concert will include pieces by Johannes Brahms and Sergei Rachmaninoff, as well as hymns and
toe-tappers.The concert will be professionally recorded for production of a CD in the near
future.Cochrane has studied with Vicki Hoehner, of Bowling Green, for 12 years.Architecture focus of PBS
film to be screened at Way LibraryPERRYSBURG – WGTE and Way Library will present a showing of "10
Buildings That Changed America," a film journey across America and inside 10 American architectural
marvels featuring groundbreaking works of art and engineering Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the library’s
lower level.The documentary hosted by Geoffrey Baer tours a state capitol building designed by Thomas
Jefferson, the original indoor shopping mall, the first airport of the Jet Age, and a futuristic concert
hall.A discussion will follow the film.The event is part of the library’s Reel Opinions series.Denver
comic BG headlinerDenver comedian Spencer James will headline Laughs and Draughts tonight at 9 at 149
North in downtown Bowling Green.Tom Plate will be the feature act.Tickets for the 18 and up show are $5
and $3 for students.
