Grand jury indicts 25 people

A Bowling Green woman has been indicted with one count of burglary and one count of illegal
conveyance of drugs onto grounds of a governmental agency, while a Walbridge senior citizen is facing
two counts of felonious assault.A Toledo man has been indicted with five new felony counts including
breaking and entering and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.They were among 25 individuals
indicted by the Feb. 20 session of a Wood County grand jury.Elizabeth Anne "Libby" Woodruff,
20, of Bowling Green, is alleged to have been the lookout for a Nov. 27 burglary at a North Main Street
residence in Bowling Green. While in custody at the Wood County jail, she was found to have smuggled
marijuana into the facility.Elgin Owen Jr., age 66, of Walbridge was indicted with two separate counts
of felonious assault involving the same victim which caused "serious physical harm."The first
count involves his actions on Jan. 30, while the second charge is related to a Feb. 14 incident. Both
counts are second-degree felonies punishable for up to eight years in prison for each count.Jesse J.
Maedel, 35, of Toledo, was indicted for breaking and entering, two counts of receiving stolen property,
tampering with evidence and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.Last September a bill of
information was handed up charging him with an additional count of receiving stolen property in regard
to an Aug. 20 incident involving a 1997 Buick.The most serious of the new charges is the engaging count,
a first-degree felony for his actions Aug. 17-20. The indictment lists five others involved with Maedel
in six separate crimes in those dates.His other charges are also alleged to have occurred on Aug. 20,
including a stolen 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer.Others indicted include:• Ronnie L. Sheeks II, 26, of
Custar, failure to register• Christian Thomas Provencio, 19, of Bowling Green, grand theft of a motor
vehicle• David L. Skrepenski II, 35, of Toledo, two counts of burglary• Shane Leck, 25, of Toledo,
burglary• James J. Dale III, 22, of Bowling Green, attempted aggravated burglary• Mackenzie Ham, 33, of
Toledo, for escape• Amanda A. Torres, 25, of Toledo, Tomie Rogers Jarrell, 38, of Carey, and Steven
Williams, 33, of Milford, Mich., each for failure to appear as required by recognizance
