BG outdoors ice rink opensBowling Green Parks and Recreation has now opened an outdoor skating
rink in City Park by the Hoffman Shelter. The rink will be open this winter during park hours, dawn to
dusk, weather permitting.There is no charge to use the rink but participants will need to provide their

on climate change from the head of the Bowling Green State University geography department at noon on
Thursday at Stone Ridge Golf Club.Dr. Art Samel is an associate professor and the chairman of the BGSU
department of geography. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in meteorology from Penn State
University and a Ph.D. in geography from the University of North Carolina. He teaches courses in weather
